This website is hosted on a server operated by the association and located in Germany (data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen). For technical reasons, the web server processes the data transmitted by your browser each time a page is requested: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and the browser and operating system used. These data are used only to deliver the page; access logs containing IP addresses are not stored permanently.

Processing takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in the technically flawless presentation and optimisation of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide (name, e-mail address, subject, message) are stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

These data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling enquiries effectively (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where the enquiry serves to initiate a contract (for example membership or partnership), on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The data you enter in the contact form are transmitted to our own server operated in Germany and forwarded from there automatically: as an e-mail to the association’s mailbox at Google (Gmail, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and as a short notification to the board via the messenger service Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC, Dubai, UAE). Name, e-mail address, subject and the beginning of your message are transmitted to Telegram. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; for Telegram the transfer is based on Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR, as it is necessary to process your enquiry. No further disclosure to third parties takes place.

The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose for which they were collected, at the latest once your enquiry has been dealt with and any statutory retention periods have expired.
